Partnership
BIFA and FILMD.
In August 2022, the British Independent Film Awards announced a partnership with FILMD to support emerging filmmakers through the BIFA Springboard programme.
The partnership
A home for each Springboard cohort.
BIFA chose FILMD as the platform partner for Springboard, its talent development programme for new and emerging filmmakers.
FILMD hosts the digital home for each cohort: a shared space to connect, learn and keep working together with peers and industry mentors between sessions.
Both organisations want to open doors for underrepresented voices, and to give the next generation of British filmmakers the tools and community to build a career.
