For cast, crew and creatives

Your career, in one place.

Closed networks, scattered tools and an industry that makes it hard to be seen. FILMD gives 25,400+ cast and crew one professional home, where productions come to hire.

The FILMD members map around London, with member counts clustered across the city.

Why FILMD exists

The industry had no home for the people who make it.

I trained at drama school, and I've been on sets as an actor, a writer and a producer. Careers live in spreadsheets, Facebook groups, WhatsApp threads and word of mouth. If you're not in the right circle, or the right city, you're invisible.

So I built FILMD: one place where every actor, creative and crew member can keep a real professional profile, get discovered and find work. We now have 25,400+ members across the UK, and Entrepreneur UK named us one of its Top 100 Startups to Watch.
