Sound familiar?

The industry wasn't built with production assistants in mind.

Expensive directories, closed networks, and work that only comes through word of mouth. FILMD was built to change that.

Common questions.

Is FILMD useful if I already have regular work?
Absolutely. Even experienced PAs benefit from a centralised profile, credits, and visibility to new productions. It's how you go from 'reliable hire' to 'first choice.'
Can FILMD help me move beyond PA roles?
Yes. Your profile tracks every credit and department you've worked in. As your experience grows, your profile reflects that progression, making it easier for productions to consider you for coordinator or management roles.
How do productions find me?
Productions search the members map by department, role, and location. If you're listed as a PA in their area, you appear in their results. Accredited members stand out in search.
Is there a cost to join?
Joining is free: your profile, the jobs board and replies to anyone who messages you cost nothing. FILMD Plus (£11.99 a month, or £119 a year) adds FILMD Accreditation, new conversations with any member and entry to FILMD Grants.
What does accreditation involve?
A structured assessment that evaluates your professional standard, not just your credits but your capability, conduct, and standing. Accredited members carry the FILMD badge and stand out in search results.
Can I message anyone on FILMD?
You can reply to anyone who messages you for free. Starting a new conversation with any member needs FILMD Plus. No mutual connections are needed either way.

Your work matters. Make sure it's visible.
